Tuned for condenser and dynamic mics picking up voice. Pulls the upper-mids forward — the range where intelligibility and presence live — while the Air parameter smooths the top end so you get open, not bright. Works with proximity effect, not against it.
Tuned for strummed and fingerpicked acoustic guitar. Brings out the string transient and the wood resonance without boosting the harshness that cheap mics introduce. The guitar sounds closer, more dimensional, without sounding boosted.
Shine exposes only what matters. The two controls give you broad direction — the plugin does the detailed work in real time, continuously, based on what's happening in the signal.
Sets the target amount of forward presence. Turn left for recessed recordings you want to bring forward; right for already-present signals where you want restraint. The plugin continuously adjusts the actual processing to match the target, regardless of how you're moving or how your level changes.
Shapes the top end. At center, Shine maintains a natural, open high frequency. Turn right and it breathes more air in — useful for very closed-sounding mics or rooms. Turn left to keep things focused and direct. It interacts with Presence so the two balance each other gracefully.
